Long-term improvement in myocardial structure and function in patients with transthyretin amyloid cardiomyopathy (ATTR-CM) treated with acoramidis compared with a natural history cohort

To evaluate the proportion of participants with improved cardiac structure and function at Months 30 and 42 of acoramidis treatment in the ATTRibute-CM cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (CMR) substudy.

In the ATTRibute-CM CMR substudy, long-term acoramidis treatment showed improvement in cardiac function and structure in a sizeable proportion of study participants—about a third for LV systolic function and almost a half for LVMi, respectively, in a conservative analysis.

These findings suggest an alteration of the expected disease trajectory with acoramidis. A larger study is planned to confirm this effect.
